Someone Who I Use To Know
As always, her Priors had been sent out to preach Origin to the unbelievers of Cartago, and preach they did. They always seemed to attract large gatherings and Adria had heard that there was much muttering amongst the population, though it was left to be seen which direction they would turn.
Adria had been curious, curious to see for herself what the people said among themselves. Curious to see how they truly felt about the Priors and the new religion they were trying to spread and so she had dressed herself as one of the Cartagians and had gone down to the planet so she could freely walk through the cities once her Priors had left to leave the people to ponder what they would do. It was an interesting mix of feelings she encountered. Fear of the new and acceptance. Some wanted to fight these newcomers and others wanted to embrace them. The Priors were compared to the Goa'uld and still others scoffed. It was a strange mixture to her and she was surprised that some did not seem to care either way.
Her eyebrows furrowed as she reached up, tugging the shawl that was covering her head back in to place as she walked down the street, pondering the things she had learned. She turned a corner and though she had been expecting their presence on the planet, she truly did not expect to actually see SG-1. She was about to duck her head, and turn down a different street when she saw him. Jonas Quinn. Him she had not expected to see and her eyes widened. She was staring, she knew she was and her heart was pounding almost painfully in her chest. She did duck her head though but she was certain he had looked in her direction right as she had done it.
She quickly turned down the street, pushing through the small crowd of people, intent on losing herself in that crowd just in case he had seen her.

Feeling the light hold of her powers, he started to struggle, exaggerating his movements as if she was holding him harder. "Make an example of me all you want, Orici!" He spat. "We're still going to stop you!" He struggled against the guards for a moment before letting them overpower him, keeping his chin high and his expression grim as he was led through the streets.
When they came to the square, SG-1 was waiting just as they'd said. All of them drew weapons when they saw Adria and her soldiers, though there was hesitation in Daniel and Vala's grips when they saw Jonas held among them.
There was no hesitation as Cam called out, "Let him go, Adria." Jonas actually felt guilty for the guilt he saw in Cam's eyes, knowing the Colonel would blame himself for this and he didn't envy the chewing out he was probably going to get from Jonas' original team.

She didn't even need to see that her soldiers had raised their own weapons and were aiming them at them. "Now why would I want to do that?" she asked as she lifted her hand and flicked it casually to the side, mentally ripping the weapons from the SG team.
Vala stepped forward, her expression a mixture of contempt and sadness. "Adria, darling, you don't have to do this."
Adria sighed, her expression softening just a bit, no matter what, she truly did care for her mother and felt a twinge of guilt that this was what they had to do in order to be together. "I'm sorry, mother, but it really is. I'm sorry." And with another flick of her wrist, Vala was pushed to the side, out of their way.
"There's no use fighting this. Jonas is coming with me." She allowed her lips to pull into a smirk. "You see, I have great plans for him." She turned her attention to Mitchell who was reaching for one of his other weapons and Adria shook her finger at him, as if he were nothing more than a naughty child.
"Truly you do not wish to do that. I'm certain you would not want to see Jonas unnecessarily hurt by your foolish actions."

And thankfully, Adria's threat was enough to get Cam to stand back. "We're gonna come for you, buddy, when we have more firepower. We aren't gonna let her keep you for long again," the Colonel said in attempt to be reassuring, even as he recognized they were out numbered. Pretending to be reassured, Jonas met Cam's eyes and nodded, relaxing a tiny bit in the soldiers' grasp as they dragged him towards the Stargate.

"I believe you will find we will be most hard to locate," she smirked dropping her hand as the wormhole opened before them. "Though you are most welcome to try." She laughed softly as she nodded to her soldiers who dragged Jonas toward it. Adria followed behind and watched as the soldiers and Jonas disappeared. "I truly am sorry it's come to this again, mother." Adria cast her mother a look and then she took a deep breath, closed her eyes and stepped into the wormhole.

But when it came down too it, he let the soldiers pull him through the Gate. The end was worth the risk and he just hoped SG-1 would manage to forgive him someday.
As they emerged on the other side, Jonas was reminded of the ruse they pulled on Tanis and the other convicts. Except this time, he wasn't going to friendly territory but hostile. They waited for Adria to come through before one of the soldiers asked what she wanted them to do with him. He waited patiently, remembering what she'd said about the ship needing to jump to hyperspace and then drop out again. They just had to bide their time.

"Oh Jonas, I have such plans for you."
She looked over at her Prior, her smirk still in place. "Are you not to be piloting?" He nodded, bowing deeply before her and then turned, rushing toward the bridge of the ship, most of the soldiers following after him.
"I wish to speak to my prisoner. Alone. You may leave us," she informed the remaining soldiers, and they too promptly retreated out of the gate room. They knew better than to question her orders.
"I cannot believe we were able to do that," she exhaled, letting her hand fall from his chin to his chest.

When the soldiers left, Jonas shook out his arms, glad to be out of their grip at last. It also let him relax and smile at her as he pulled her closer with hands around her waist. "So far so good. But I think that was the easy part. Your Prior will be harder to fool." But he nodded towards the door. "Come on. Let's go find some privacy."
no subject
Smiling she lifted her head and pressed a quick kiss to his lips. "We will be in hyperdrive for at least one of Earth's hours. We can find privacy in my room." She pulled out of his embrace, shooting him an amused look. "They will simply think I will be wanting to pick things up where we last left off."
She rounded her shoulders and moved to the doors, which promptly slid open. "Come along, Jonas, I assure you... I will do exactly as I promised if you fail to do as I say," she said loud enough so the soldiers would be sure to hear before she began to lead the way toward her private rooms.

He followed behind her, doing his best to look cowed. "Yes, Orici." But once they were safetly in her rooms, he wrapped around her from behind and asked huskily in her ear, "was that a threat or a promise?"
no subject
But it was a relief when the doors to her rooms slid closed behind them. At least there, they could relax some.
Adria hummed contently as she leaned back against Jonas. "Oh, it was a promise, Jonas Quinn." She smiled, turning in his arms so she could press a kiss against his lips. "Though that promise shall have to wait until you help me out of my dress."
no subject
It was almost nice to be back in familiar settings, especially since he wasn't a prisoner this time. Not exactly.
Even as he returned the kiss, he started to undo the dress. Or try. "You aren't attached to these over complicated gowns are you?" She looked gorgeous but he wouldn't miss getting her out of them.

Her fingers worked nimbly on the buttons of his shirt and she pulled back a little to look up at him. "We will find out own way, Jonas. A way where we can be ourselves and be with one another."
no subject
He paused unlacing one of the sides of her dress and dropped his head to kiss her softly, "Let's find our way off this ship first. Then we will make the best life possible."
no subject
She nodded, leaning into his kiss even as her hands were sliding up his chest to push his shirt off of his shoulders. She chuckled against his lips, her fingers plucking lightly at the t-shirt he wore under it. "I believe you might be wearing just as many layers as I am."
no subject
His fingers returned to tugging at the laces, until he growled with frustration at being unable to give both her and the dress his attention. "At least mine are easy to pull off. Have I mentioned I hate these dresses?"
no subject
And then, her pout was gone. "Problem solved." She normally wouldn't have resulted to using her powers on such a trivial thing, but they really only had a limited amount of time before the ship would drop out of hyperdrive and she fully intended on using every moment they had to get to know his body all over again.
She tugged the broken laces free of her dress, loosening the dress enough so she was able to begin to shrug it free of her body. Once she was undressed, she intended to help him out of the remainder of his clothes.
Sorry, crazy beginning of the month!
After helping her shrug out of her dress, Jonas quickly divested himself of his boots so he was left in t-shirt, BDU pants and underclothes. But that was as far as he got as his hands moved up and down her now bare sides, caressing the skin he'd missed the soft feel of. "Adria..." He said softly, a bit of awe in his voice.
It's okay! I've had a crazy last couple of weeks!
Slowly, Adria's eyes opened and she stepped closer to him, a smiling touching her lips as her fingers moved to hook in the waistband of his pants. It pleased her to no end that he still thought her beautiful ad she wanted him to know that she thought the same of him. Her gaze searched his as her fingers edged closer to the button and zipper of his BDU pants and then she was quickly undoing them and pushing them down his hips.

Her eyes meeting his and the hands at his zipper brought him back to the moment and he nodded a small ascent to her. Reluctantly, he pulled his hands away so he could pull his t-shirt over his head. divesting himself of it just as she pushed his bottoms down. In a small fit of modesty, he kept his eyes down, waiting for a reaction from her before he looked up.

Adria didn't say anything, she just allowed her gaze to roam over him freely, taking in each curve and dip of his muscles. He was breathtaking, she had always thought so and how she had missed having the opportunity to just watch him. She smiled as she slid her palm up the warm length of his chest and looked up to meet his eyes.
"Jonas..." She wasn't sure what else to say or even if words were needed. She encircled her arms around his waist, drawing herself back against him, and truly she could press herself close enough. Tipping her head back a little, she pressed a soft kiss on his chin, her hands stroking up the smooth skin of his back, her fingers spreading to feel the firm curves of the muscles there.
