Someone Who I Use To Know
As always, her Priors had been sent out to preach Origin to the unbelievers of Cartago, and preach they did. They always seemed to attract large gatherings and Adria had heard that there was much muttering amongst the population, though it was left to be seen which direction they would turn.
Adria had been curious, curious to see for herself what the people said among themselves. Curious to see how they truly felt about the Priors and the new religion they were trying to spread and so she had dressed herself as one of the Cartagians and had gone down to the planet so she could freely walk through the cities once her Priors had left to leave the people to ponder what they would do. It was an interesting mix of feelings she encountered. Fear of the new and acceptance. Some wanted to fight these newcomers and others wanted to embrace them. The Priors were compared to the Goa'uld and still others scoffed. It was a strange mixture to her and she was surprised that some did not seem to care either way.
Her eyebrows furrowed as she reached up, tugging the shawl that was covering her head back in to place as she walked down the street, pondering the things she had learned. She turned a corner and though she had been expecting their presence on the planet, she truly did not expect to actually see SG-1. She was about to duck her head, and turn down a different street when she saw him. Jonas Quinn. Him she had not expected to see and her eyes widened. She was staring, she knew she was and her heart was pounding almost painfully in her chest. She did duck her head though but she was certain he had looked in her direction right as she had done it.
She quickly turned down the street, pushing through the small crowd of people, intent on losing herself in that crowd just in case he had seen her.

Her eyes meeting his and the hands at his zipper brought him back to the moment and he nodded a small ascent to her. Reluctantly, he pulled his hands away so he could pull his t-shirt over his head. divesting himself of it just as she pushed his bottoms down. In a small fit of modesty, he kept his eyes down, waiting for a reaction from her before he looked up.

Adria didn't say anything, she just allowed her gaze to roam over him freely, taking in each curve and dip of his muscles. He was breathtaking, she had always thought so and how she had missed having the opportunity to just watch him. She smiled as she slid her palm up the warm length of his chest and looked up to meet his eyes.
"Jonas..." She wasn't sure what else to say or even if words were needed. She encircled her arms around his waist, drawing herself back against him, and truly she could press herself close enough. Tipping her head back a little, she pressed a soft kiss on his chin, her hands stroking up the smooth skin of his back, her fingers spreading to feel the firm curves of the muscles there.
